Section 01

Booking & Payment Terms

  • Arrival and collection days are chargeable — the minimum stay for overnight boarding is two days.
  • For arrival dates within 1 month: full payment must be made within 48 hours of email confirmation to secure the booking.
  • For arrival dates over 1 month in advance: a 50% deposit must be paid within 48 hours of email confirmation. The remaining balance is due no later than 1 month before arrival.
  • If the balance remains unpaid by this deadline, the card details provided at booking will be charged automatically. By confirming your booking, you consent to this charge.
  • Payment card on file: all bookings require a valid payment card to be saved on file. By providing a card, you authorise us to use it for deposits, balances and any additional charges as outlined in these terms.

Bank Transfer

If you'd prefer to pay by bank transfer, our details are:

Paws & Co Group Ltd
Bank:NatWest
Account name:Paws & Co Group Ltd
Sort code:54-41-28
Account number:48619094

Please use your surname or invoice number as the payment reference, and email us to confirm payment.

Section 02

Cancellation & Amendment Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations over one month in advance: deposits can be transferred to one future booking taken within 9 months of the original booking date. A deposit may only be transferred once.
  • Cancellations less than one month in advance: the full booking fee is chargeable, as staffing has already been allocated and it is unlikely we can re-let the space at such short notice.
  • If you drop your dog off later than booked or collect earlier than scheduled, no refund will be issued for unused days.

Tip — We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that includes cover for boarding fees, in case of unexpected changes.

Section 03

Health & Behaviour

General Health

Owners warrant that any dog admitted for boarding or training is fit, sound and healthy, or that any health concerns have been disclosed in writing in advance.

Behaviour and Needs

Owners must declare any recurring veterinary issues, medication requirements, behavioural traits or specific needs their dog may have, in writing, before drop-off.

Veterinary Treatment

If deemed necessary, veterinary care will be sought during your dog's stay. It is therefore essential that you supply us with the name of your usual veterinary practice, as we may need to request your pet's medical history.

We will attempt to contact you or your emergency contact before arranging treatment, but if we are unsuccessful, agreeing to these terms will be taken as your consent to proceed.

Where Veterinary Cover is not added, owners are responsible for any veterinary costs incurred during the stay, plus a £20.00 handling charge per vet visit arranged by us. This must be settled before collection.

Flea & Worm Treatments

All dogs must be up to date on flea and worming treatments. Any treatments required during boarding will be charged accordingly.

Refusal of Entry

Dogs showing signs of illness, injury or infectious disease may be refused entry, with the full cost of the stay still chargeable.

Medication

Routine medication will be administered as instructed, provided the dog accepts it without resistance and the treatment is manageable by non-veterinary staff.

If the owner requests that prescribed medication is given at times other than instructed by the prescribing vet, this must be requested in writing and have consent from the prescribing vet.

Medication windows — Routine medication can only be administered within working hours, between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

Section 04

Required Vaccinations

DHP Vaccine (Mandatory)

Proof of valid Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus (DHP) vaccination must be provided before drop-off.

If proof cannot be provided, you have the option to have our onsite vet vaccinate your dog at your cost. If you choose not to do so, this will result in refused entry and no refunds will apply.

Lepto Vaccine (Mandatory)

Proof of valid Leptospirosis (Lepto) vaccination must be provided before drop-off.

If proof cannot be provided, you have the option to have our onsite vet vaccinate your dog at your cost. If you choose not to do so, this will result in refused entry and no refunds will apply. Vaccines used must be licensed for use in the UK.

Important

Primary vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.

Titre Testing

We accept a Titre Test Certificate covering DHP for booster vaccination periods, supplied directly from your vet in PDF format.

Kennel Cough Vaccine (Recommended)

The Kennel Cough vaccine is highly recommended but not mandatory. If administered, it must be given at least 2 weeks prior to drop-off.

If administered less than 2 weeks before arrival, entry will be refused and full booking costs will apply.

Symptoms on Arrival

If a dog displays signs of kennel cough or other infectious illness on arrival, they will be refused entry, and the full reservation cost will still be charged.

Section 05

Drop-off & Collection

  • Dogs must be on a lead at all times during arrival and departure. We accept no liability for any injury or loss in the car park area.
  • All dogs must have a secure collar with an ID tag and be microchipped. Microchip details must be provided before drop-off.
  • To minimise stress for our guests, dogs will be taken to and from the kennel area by a member of our staff. Visitors are not permitted into the kennel area during the boarding period — this is for welfare and biosecurity reasons.
  • Dogs must be dropped off and collected during the official times stated in your booking confirmation. Out-of-hours services, where available, will incur an additional fee.
Section 06

Feeding

Food Supply

Owners must provide sufficient food for the duration of their dog's stay, plus extra to cover unexpected extended stays due to changes in travel plans, or if extra feeding is deemed necessary due to weight loss. Clear feeding instructions must also be provided.

Default Feeding

Without specific instructions, we will feed your dog based on their weight at check-in and monitor their condition throughout the stay to ensure weight is maintained. If we notice continued weight loss, we will contact you before seeking veterinary attention.

If Food Runs Out

If your dog's food supply runs out during their stay, you will have the following options:

  • Purchase food directly from us, subject to availability.
  • Arrange for food to be delivered to the facility.
  • Request that we purchase food from a local pet store. This service will incur a fee of £30.00 per visit, plus the cost of the food.
Section 07

Toys, Bedding, Belongings & Damage

Toys & Bedding

  • Toys provided must be safe and durable, and will only be used during exercise or play times. Toys destroyed during a stay will not be replaced by us.
  • If your dog destroys their own bedding, it will be returned to you for disposal.
  • If our bedding is damaged, a £15.00 fee per item will apply.
  • It is the owner's responsibility to check that all belongings are handed back at collection. We accept no liability for items found to be missing after leaving the premises.

Sharing a Kennel

Only dogs from the same household may share a kennel. If separation is required during the stay due to safety or behavioural concerns, additional kennel charges will apply.

Kennel Damage

  • If your dog causes damage to our facility, a £100 fee per incident will be charged. This fee covers repairs and maintenance.
  • Fees for damage are capped at £500 per stay.
  • Charges for damage will be deducted from the payment card on file. New customers must ensure a valid payment card is saved to cover any such charges.
Section 08

Paws & Co Veterinary Boarding Cover

By adding Veterinary Cover from our partner practice (Paws & Co Veterinary Centre) to your pet's stay, you give your consent to the following:

  • Where necessary, our staff may contact your usual vet to request a medical history.
  • Paws & Co Veterinary Centre may examine and treat your pet if required during the stay.

Exclusions from Veterinary Boarding Cover

The following are not included in our standard cover:

  • Any pre-existing conditions.
  • Calming medication, where a dog cannot be safely treated without it.
  • Treatment for Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex where the Kennel Cough vaccination has not been administered.
  • Emergency out-of-hours treatment.
  • Procedures not possible in this practice.
  • Euthanasia and associated services.
Section 09
