Everything you need to know before your cat's stay
A simple, clear guide to drop-off, feeding, payments, vaccinations and onsite veterinary care. Please take a moment to read through — and don't hesitate to call us if anything's unclear.
Drop-off & Collection
Drop-offs and collections must take place within our standard times.
Drop-off Times

2:30pm – 4:00pm
Sunday
10:00am – 1:00pm
Please bring:
- Up-to-date vaccination records
- Sufficient food for the duration of the stay
- Familiar bedding
- Any medication, with clear instructions
Collection Times

Drop-offs and collections cannot take place outside our standard times. If your travel plans change, please call us as soon as possible.
Early or Late Collection
If you collect your cat earlier than booked, the full booking will still be charged.
If you need to extend your booking, please inform us as soon as possible. Any balance must be paid before collection.
ImportantFull payment must be made before drop-off. Please ensure your account is settled in advance to avoid any delay on the day.
Feeding
Cats are creatures of habit — keeping their diet consistent during their stay helps them settle quickly.
Bring Their Usual Food
Owners are required to provide food for the duration of the stay. Changing a cat's diet in a new environment can lead to stress, poor appetite and weight loss — so we always feed what they're used to.
Wet & Dry Diets
If your cat has a mixed diet, please provide wet food sachets or tins separately from dry food, so we can maintain their usual feeding routine throughout the stay.
Quantities
Please weigh your cat's daily food quantities and add this information to your portal. Pre-weighed portions in separate packages are also welcome — whichever is easier for you.
Payment Terms
Clear, transparent payment policies — no surprises.
Deposits
Deposits must be paid within 48 hours to secure a booking.
If your drop-off is within 30 days, the deposit covers the full booking amount. For drop-offs more than 30 days away, the deposit is 50% — with the balance due before drop-off.
Balance
All balances must be settled at least 30 days before drop-off.
If you need to extend your booking while your cat is with us, please let us know as soon as possible — any additional balance must be paid before collection.
Cancellations & Transfers
Deposits are non-refundable.
If your booking is cancelled in writing more than one month in advance, your deposit can be transferred to a future booking taken within 9 months. A deposit may only be transferred once.
Vaccinations
Vaccination requirements protect not only your cat, but every animal in our care. Proof of treatment will be requested at drop-off.
Core Vaccinations
All cats must be fully vaccinated and up to date for the following core feline diseases:
- Feline Herpesvirus (FHV-1)
- Feline Calicivirus (FCV)
- Feline Panleukopenia (FPV)
Flea, Worm & Parasite Treatment
All cats must have received flea and worming treatment between 1 and 3 months prior to arrival at the cattery.
This is essential to protect every animal in our care. Proof of treatment will be requested.
Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV)
We strongly recommend vaccination against Feline Leukaemia Virus (FeLV), particularly for cats that go outdoors or have contact with other cats.
While not mandatory for boarding, FeLV vaccination offers an important additional layer of protection for your cat's long-term health.
Live VaccinesAll vaccines must be administered at least 2 weeks prior to drop-off. Cats arriving with vaccines administered less than 2 weeks before drop-off will be refused entry, with no refund on the booking.

Our onsite veterinary practice gives every owner the ultimate peace of mind during their cat's stay.
Onsite Veterinary Clinic
Paws & Co Veterinary Centre is based at our facility — meaning expert veterinary support is always close at hand should it ever be needed.
Veterinary Cover
Our optional Veterinary Cover protects your cat throughout their stay. Any issues that arise during boarding will be covered when this is in place.
£20 per week for one cat — discounted rates available for multiple cats.
Preventative Treatment
While your cat is with us, you can also book in for preventative care — from routine vaccinations through to dental work — saving you a separate trip to the vet.
